How to Recover Lost Notifications on Android

Have you ever fall into a situation where you have absent-mindedly cleared notification that you hadn't checked out yet in your Android's status bar? All of a sudden, you realized that you miss something important. Well, in this post, we will help you out in recovering lost notification on Android phone. Regardless of it is a Samsung Galaxy, Sony, LG, Moto or Google Nexus, as long as it runs Android 4.3 and above, you can recover deleted notification effortlessly.


1. Long press and hold on a blank part of the home screen of your phone to bring up the "Widgets" option and tap it.


2. Swipe to left until you find "Settings" shortcut widgets. Select that and drag it to your home screen.

3. Now you just open "Settings", then find and select "Notification log." It'll then generate a shortcut icon for your notifications log on your home screen.


4. That's it. Just open "Notification log" to see your notification history. You'll see active notifications in white, and notifications that you closed greyed out.

Tips: The notifications history that you reach from your notification widget is there from your last phone restart time. To clear the collected notifications, just restart your phone.
