[Solved] How to Facetime/Video Chat on Snapchat

By FonePaw | Dec 24 , 2017

As a popular and unique photo-sharing app, Snapchat launched a big update on iPhone and Android device, with the ability to Facetime and video chat with friends in real time, as well as send an audio note, text or sticker. However, many new snappers had trouble figuring out how to Facetime on Snapchat. Sure, it seems a little complicated when you first try it. But if you follow the step-by-step guide on this post and do it a few times, it is extremely easy.

Extra Tips:

How Do You Facetime on Snapchat Step by Step?

Now, let's begin to learn how do you do live chat on Snapchat in a simple way. Just check it out below!

Step 1. You'll first need to launch Snapchat (if you don't already have it you can download it from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store).

Add Friends on Snapchat

Step 2. On your Snapchat, there is an icon showing you one of your friends is currently using Snapchat.

Note: For a video chat, you and the friend you want to video chat with must both be using the app at the same time.

Snapchat with Friends

Step 3. Swipe to the right on your friend‘s name to begin the chat. Swipe to the left or use the yellow button to send a screenshot or photo from your camera roll within a chat.

Note:

  • When the camera icon is yellow, you and your friend don’t have the app open at the same time, meaning you can only send a regular Snapchat or a text message.
  • A blue camera button indicates both friends are currently on the chat screen and you are able to have a live video call.

Snapchat Photos

Step 4. In order to use Facetime on Snapchat, press and hold the blue button "Press and hold to share live video!" When your friend does the same, you will be in a two-way chat.

Share Live Videos

Note: The chat will end if you remove your finger from the screen unless in the locked position. To lock the chat in place and be able to take your finger off the screen, you just need to move your finger down to the lock icon, then release your finger.

Facetime on Snapchat

Facetime is a lesser known feature on Snapchat, but it works well. Snapchat can be a good alternative to WhatsApp, Viber, Skype, Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct and more. Also, people are asking whether it's able to Facetime and video chat on Snapchat with multiple people, say, three or more. Actually, it's not supported so far. However, will you use Facetime on Snapchat? Please share your opinion about this feature with the comment box below.

impenetrable on its security over the past few years. You used to be able to send a malicious media file embedded with malicious code that was designed to exploit the stage fright media library. It took advantaged of the integer overflow vulnerability which involves the input of a value that is out of range which can lead to privilege escalation..... contact HACKERSPYGIFT at Gmail. Com
