How to Change WhatsApp Phone Number on iPhone

WhatsApp has gain its good name for its simple however stunning features. For example the very thoughtful idea of the two blue tick marks that makes senders know the messages has been read by the receivers. I love this very much as it makes me fully control of the conversation. Another is that WhatsApp do not have users bothered to register with other emails. So I can log in and use WhatsApp directly with my phone number. Actually, I think highly of it because I am very poor at remembering accounts and passwords. So WhatsApp really do me a great favor in this aspect. But here is a question. Recently I have move to another city and have my iPhone 6 number changed, so I want to change WhatsApp Phone number on my iPhone to the new one. At the first place, I think it difficult. Luckily, it turns out to be quite simple after real practice.

1. Launch WhatsApp on iPhone. Go to Settings and then Account from the bottom right corner.

2. Under Account screen, tap on Change Number and a window will pop up. Click Next to continue.

3. On Change Number interface, choose your country code. Then enter your old phone number in the first box and new phone number the second one. After that, tap on Done on the top right.

4. You will be prompted to verify the new phone number to be set as the registered WhatsApp number. You can get that done by either SMS or phone call.

After SMS/call verification, your new phone number will be able to log in WhatsApp with passwords.
