iPhone 7 VS Samsung Galaxy S7 : Design

Design Comparison

When it comes to design, Apple seems always been focusing more on evolution than revolution. Building on rumors, iPhone 7 has no significant change on design and it will come with a familiar one with little difference from iPhone 6s. iPhone 7 still features LED-backlit IPS LCD, 3D touch, fingerprint scanner Touch ID. However, Apple plans to make iPhone 7 more thinner for the removal of the 3.5 headphone jack and the replacement of built-in stereo speakers.

Samsung Galaxy S7 is almost as gorgeous as last year’s Galaxy S6 in terms of overall shape. And the most impressive enhancements are the new features of IP68 waterproofing and the return of a micro SD card slot for extra storage.

iPhone 7 VS Samsung Galaxy S7: Display

As the future king of smartphones, iPhone 7 is reportedly to have an advanced resolution display. It is  said that a QHD display with 2560 x 1440 resolution can be seem in iPhone 7 to stay the same with Galaxy S7 and other Android handsets. When it comes to size, there are two variants which should be 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models.

Samsung Galasy S7 embraces the curved display with 5.1-inch and 5.5-inch. It comes with a pixel density of about 551ppi. The newly-added Always On Display enables users to access to certain information like messages, note and other notification etc. while in lock screen.

iPhone 7 VS Samsung Galaxy S7: Camera

iPhone 7 make no big upgrade in camera as the great enhancement has been done in iPhone 6s. That’s iPhone 7 is said to own a 5MP camera and 12MP rear camera the same as iPhone 6s. Luckily, iPhone fans can expect more from iPhone 7 in terms of a dual lens camera, wider apertures, more complex sensors and innovative optical image stabilization.

On the contrary, Samsung Galaxy S7 introduces great change in camera. It deliberately reduces the rear camera to 12 MP. It tends to focus more on other hardware like a wider f.1.7 aperture, a larger 14um pixel size and initiate dual-pixel sensor with 100% phase detection autofocus. Low-light performance and fast focusing speed empower Samsung Galaxy S7 extra advantages over iPhone 7.

Both iPhone and Samsung users give much concern in terms of battery and how to improve battery life. That is why the long battery life is now at the top of the list as a must for a bestselling smartphone. With that in mind, both Apple and Samsung do great improvements in their iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7. For those users who are not satisfied with iPhone 6s/6s plus batter life, Congratulate! For iPhone 7, a dual-camera technology is introduced to boost image quality to match standalone digital cameras. Another innovative design is that the 3.5mm headphone jack will be jettisoned in iPhone 7. Instead, wireless headphones compatible with Bluetooth, basing on Beats technology will be developed.
