How to Download and Install Google Play Store

Google Play Store, the official store of Google, is an Android market for any apps and a place that you should never miss. Everything your Android device needs can be found there, like games, music and video players, chat apps, and more. You can find anything on the store. Every Android user should have Google Play Store app in their phone and tablet so that they can find what they want from the store quickly and conveniently. So how do you download and install Google Play on your Android phone? And what you should do after installing the app? Just walk through the steps below.

Part 1. Download and Install Google Play Store

Step 1. Enable "Unknown Sources"
Go to Settings > Security. Scroll down to choose Unknown sources. Then choose OK in the pop-up note.

Step 2. Download Google Play Store APK
Open a browser in your Android phone. Download the APK file of Google Play Store.
You may receive a note warning that "this type of file can harm your device". Just trust it and press OK.

 

Step 3. Install Google Play (phone method)
Tap the APK file. Then you can read new permissions and choose the button "Install".

Part 2. Set up Google Play

Step 1. Add Account
Open Google Play Store on your Android phone. You will be asked to add an account. Enter your Google account and choose NEXT. Then enter the password and click "Next". By signing into Google, you need to ACCEPT the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Step 2. Set up Payment Info
You will be required to enter your billing information. You won't be charged unless you make a purchase. If you would not like to set up payment info, just choose "No thanks" and CONTINUE to finish setting up.
